Helios Medical Rooms is a doctor-owned, private-billing practice in Wollongong - run by a GP, not a corporate. No throughput KPIs, no head office, and clinical decisions stay where they belong: with you. We’re looking for a vocationally registered GP (FRACGP or FACRRM) to join us, full-time or part-time.
The Offer
- You keep 70% of your billings - a 30% service fee, stated plainly up front
- Private billing - your time is properly valued, so the same session earns more than volume medicine, with appointment lengths you set
- Clinical autonomy - your fees, your consult lengths, your clinical style; no corporate KPIs
- Full-time or part-time, genuinely - most of our GPs work part-time by choice, and their days are full
- Nursing and admin behind you - practice nurse support, full reception, recalls and results handled; you practise, the operation runs
- No lock-in - independent contractor terms
Patient Demand
Our part-time GPs’ days are full. The limit on their books is the number of days they choose to work, not patient demand.

Who We’re Looking For
- FRACGP or FACRRM - vocationally registered, with unrestricted AHPRA general registration
- A GP who wants to practise good medicine without corporate pressure
- Someone looking for a long-term home, full-time or part-time
Vocational registration is a firm requirement - this is not a supervised or standard-pathway position. UK/Ireland colleagues with RACGP specialist recognition are welcome to get in touch.
