Helios Medical Rooms is an independent practice in Unanderra, Wollongong, with no head office. What happens in the consult, including how each patient is billed, is the doctor’s call. Ten rooms, pathology on site, and colleagues across general practice, skin cancer medicine, psychiatry and psychology. We’re looking for a vocationally registered GP (FRACGP or FACRRM) to join us, full-time or part-time.
The Offer
- You keep 70% of your billings - a 30% service fee plus GST
- Private billing, decided by you - whether a particular patient is bulk billed is your call in the room
- Clinical autonomy - your consult lengths and your clinical style. There are no throughput or billing targets
- Full-time or part-time - most of our GPs work part-time, and their days are full
- Nursing and admin behind you - a practice nurse, full reception, and recalls and results handled
- No after-hours on-call - after hours is covered by 13SICK
- Independent contractor terms
Patient Demand
Our part-time GPs’ days are full. The only limit on their books is how many days they choose to work.
You’d build your book from an established patient base, with reception, recalls and marketing behind you. When we talk, we’ll show you real billing numbers.
