Helios Medical Rooms is a private billing family medical practice. You pay a fee for your consultation and we process your Medicare rebate on the spot. In return, the practice is built around your care rather than volume: experienced GPs who take the time to listen and to know you properly, and appointments matched to what you actually need - standard, long, and comprehensive consultation lengths are all available.

We offer telehealth video consults for eligible patients at the same fees as in-person visits.

Our fees are published upfront. A standard consultation is $100, and after your Medicare rebate - processed immediately back to your card - your out-of-pocket cost is $54.95. Payment is required at the time of consultation, and we accept EFTPOS, credit card, and cash.

Unanderra is one of Wollongong’s southern suburbs, on the Princes Highway between Figtree and Dapto, so the drive from the city centre avoids city-centre parking. 4Cyte Pathology collects on site in the same building, so blood tests can be done without a second trip.
