Pathology Collection in Unanderra
On site at Helios Medical Rooms, operated by 4Cyte Pathology
4Cyte Pathology operates a collection centre inside our building at 1/94 Nudjia Road, Unanderra. If your GP orders blood tests, you can usually have them collected straight after your appointment - no second trip.
What’s Available On Site
The collection centre handles routine pathology - blood tests, urine samples, and the collection kits your doctor sends you home with. Samples are collected by 4Cyte’s staff and processed in their laboratories, with results sent back to the doctor who ordered them.
You don’t need to be a Helios patient to use the centre: it accepts standard pathology request forms from any doctor.
How It Works With Your Appointment
If your Helios GP orders tests during a consultation, you can walk down to the collection centre and have them done before you leave. Results return to your GP, who will contact you if follow-up is needed - or discuss them at your review appointment.
For fasting tests, book a morning appointment and ask reception when the collection centre opens that day.
